Cultural recreation

According to Quebec’s Ministry for culture, communications and the status of women (the Ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition Féminine or MCCCF) , cultural recreation is an ensemble of activities practiced freely and that encourage creativity in the fields of the arts, communication, expression or the appreciation of artworks.
Thanks to our great tradition of volunteerism, cultural activities enable the expression of local pride and the significant involvement of the public, and reinforce the sense of belonging to the community.

More recently, the of Town of Brome Lake community has built a community services and recreation center, Centre Lac-Brome, which offers activities, courses and workshops for citizens of all ages.
