The Town of Brome Lake will begin the complete reconstruction of Fulford Road’s 7.5 kilometres starting in June. This major project, valued at nearly $7 million, also includes the addition of bike lanes on both sides of the roadway to improve safety and encourage active transportation.
The work will include roadway reconstruction, road widening in certain areas, as well as adjustments to ditches and culverts.
The project will take place from June to October in two phases:
During the work, Fulford Road will be closed to through traffic, except for local traffic and property access. Detour routes will be put in place and clearly marked.
