The Town of Brome Lake invites you to take part in the No Mow May initiative.
This simple action consists of delaying the mowing of your lawn to allow dandelions to bloom, providing a valuable source of nectar and pollen for bees.
By offering them this food source in the spring, you help support bees and other pollinating insects in their essential role. Their work directly contributes to the production of a large portion of the food we consume.
We encourage you to keep the dandelions in your lawn while they are blooming, and to mow once the flowers have faded.
