Results of the April 24, 2026 Register

The Town of Brome Lake wishes to inform residents of the results of the register held last week regarding proposed amendments to Zoning By-law 596-20.

• 596-21: modification of the definitions of ‘building height (in meters)’ and ‘site occupancy percentage’.
  Required signatures: 698 | 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝: 𝟑𝟗

• 596-22: Amendment to side setback and maximum building coverage for a house in Zone UV-4-I12.
  Required signatures: 65 | 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝: 𝟒

• 596-23: Amendment to maximum building coverage for a house in Zone UV-14-J13.
  Required signatures: 47 | 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝: 𝟕

As the number of signatures required by law was not reached, these proposed amendments to the zoning by-law are deemed to be approved by Qualified Voters.
